On June 13, Sinochem International released an announcement of assets acquisition, stating to acquire a 60.976% stake in Sennics Co., Ltd. (Sennics) with no more than RMB 2.82 billion via its wholly-owned subsidiary Sinochem International (Overseas) Pte. Ltd. in Singapore.

Sinochem International announced on February 22 that it intends to add no more than RMB 1.634 billion yuan to acquire 61.66 million shares from Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Group Co., Ltd. (Yangnong Group) and also plans to purchase 35% of the equities of SIAT with 192.56 million euro (or RMB 1.6 billion yuan) from GMG, a listed company in Singapore controlled by Sinochem International. These acquisition plans embody Sinochem International's development strategy in the fine chemicals, agrochemicals and natural rubber fields.

On February 21, 2011, by entering into an agreement with STAHL Holdings, a Dutch fine chemicals manufacturer, Sinochem International obtained the exclusive distribution right for functional coatings produced by plants of STAHL Functional Coatings Business Division in China and other countries.

Sinochem International Corporation (Shanghai Stock Exchange: 600500) and Monsanto Company (NYSE: MON) today announced that Sinochem and its subsidiaries have signed agreements with Monsanto's Asia and India subsidiaries for the acquisition of Monsanto's butachlor and alachlor businesses and certain other assets.

After successful acquisition of three domestic natural rubber plants, i.e. Hainan Enlian, Yunnan Xiangdong and Hainan Chengxin, Sinochem International has taken its first step of overseas natural rubber business expansion through acquisition of Malaysia Euroma Rubber Industries SEN.BHD, indicating that Sinochem has established a tetedepont for overseas expansion at Southeast Asia - the major producing area of natural rubber.

On May 18, Sinochem International signed an agreement with Nantong Industrial Trade Stated-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd., stating that Sinochem will acquire 55,440,000 shares from the total 111,744,000 shares of Nantong Jiangshan Agrochemical Chemical Limited Liability Co. (JSAC) owned by the former. Therefore, Sinochem now has 28% of Jiangshan Stock's shares.
